But if you’re doing it just to fit in with the crowd, then it might be best to leave it alone.

It will happen sooner or later, but being in a relationship should only happen when you are truly ready. Then when you are, you can find a man, show him you’re interested, and get to know what he’s all about. If he’s the right one for you, you will have a boyfriend.

In this case, it may be best to not get into one. So yes, getting a boyfriend can be important, but only when you’re truly ready.
